For Jessica, niece of Dave and Jane Eichhorn who has recently been diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. For Jeffery Weisjohn, son of Larry and Beverly, who is dealing with health issues. For Mike Baker who is having knee replacement surgery on February 9th. For Nancy Callies who is facing numerous health issues. For Alan, Bill, Bob, Bonnie, Lauri, Micki, Roberta, and Vicky friends and relatives of members suffering with cancer. For those out of work or who are suffering through financial hardships. For those serving in the military overseas -- Ben Mosness, son of Frank and Susie Albrecht, serving in Iraq, Doug Draeger, grandson of Byron and Marilyn Draeger, Ryan Witzke, grandson of Jim and Sharon Witzke, Shane Bartelt, grandson of Dick and Jeannie Bartelt all serving in Afghanistan, and Sonja Kerrigan Ludwig in the US Air Force. For the people in Haiti and those who are there helping with the recovery efforts.

BAPTISM: Mason Paul Piechowski, born June 27, 2009, will be received into God's Kingdom of Grace through Holy Baptism on Sunday, February 7, 2010 following the 10:30 a.m. service. Mason's parents are Paul and Rebecca nee Kiechhafer Piechowski. His sponsors are William and Susan Niemuth.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Do you know that Trinity has 22 members who are over 90 years old? Each month congratulate each member who has a birthday and has reached 90 years and more. LENTEN MEALS: Lent is just around the corner Lunch is served following the morning services and supper preceding the evening services. We are asking boards, societies and groups to consider hosting one of the Lenten meals. There are several openings for both the morning and evening meals. If you are interested in hosting a meal please call the office as soon as possible to pick a date. If you have any questions, please contact Janet or Iris in the church office.

SCRIP cards are offered at the school's office Monday - Friday during school hours or before and after each of the Sunday services. Please come and talk to us and see what we have to offer you. Remember that we aren't asking you to spend any more than you already are on your daily purchases. SCRIP cards can be paid for by cash or check.

YFC PIZZA SALE is coming up on Saturday, February 20th. It's that time again…time to order our delicious pizzas. When you purchase pizzas from YFC, not only are you getting great tasting pizzas, you are helping support our youth ministries at Trinity. It's a win-win situation! Our goal this time is to sell over 640 pizzas, so please consider helping us reach that goal and getting one step closer to New Orleans for the National Youth Gathering in July. Attention Youth: please report to the church basement BY 9:00 a.m. on February 20th. For those of you picking up your pizzas, please come to the church between 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. that day. Thank you very much for helping out YFC through your prayers and supporting our fundraisers.
MISSION TRIP TO NEW ORLEANS!! Eleven Trinity members, Chuck and Donna Butzlaff, Nathan Ahlborn, Sylvia Karow, Mike Mieritz, Jason Benicke, Ralph Neyhard, Marilyn Dahl, John Vandenberg, Ralph and Sue Heasty, will be in New Orleans March 15-20. Karen Vergin and Mary Becker from St. John's Berlin will be joining our team. We will be working with RAI (Recovery Assistance Incorporated) Ministries continuing the clean-up process that will allow residents to return to their homes. We will be staying in an RAI facility. Room and board is $35 per person, per day. Travel will be an additional expense. For those who are unable to pay part or all of their own way there are available monies. If you can't participate yourself, perhaps you can consider supporting this mission trip with a monetary contribution. We ask for your prayers as we seek to serve those in need.
DEACONS, USHERS AND GREETERS: We are missing some badges. Please check to see if you have worn one home. If you find one, please return it to the church and place it on the Deacon's Desk. If badges are not returned, new ones will need to be ordered. Please check once more and save the cost of ordering replacements.

"PIE ROOM CLEAN UP": Boards and Societies who have items which have been stored in the "pie room" are asked to help us with the clean up process. Items previously stored in the pie room will be moved to the first Bible Study room off of the Fellowship Hall by February 10th. Please have a representative of your group dispose of items no longer needed and clean the construction dust off of the shelves and items you wish to keep. Your help is greatly appreciated. If you have questions, please contact the church office or the board of Church Properties.
HELPING HANDS FUND: A fund has been established for Trinity members who are in need of immediate emergency assistance. The Stewardship board has established guidelines for dispersal. A donation has been received to open the fund, but the need will continue. If you wish to contribute to this fund, donations should be specified to the "Helping Hands Fund." Anyone who requires assistance may contact Donna Butzlaff at 426-1682 or the church office.
OSHKOSH NORTH MUSICAL: "On the Town" will be presented on Friday and Saturday, February 12 and 13 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, February 14 at 2:00 p.m. at the Alberta Kimball Auditorium. Tickets are $10.00 for all performances with $8.00 tickets for students and seniors at the Sunday matinee. Tickets are available at the Grand Opera House Ticket office. ATTENTION ALL SWEET TOOTHS! Next Sunday, February 14, Youth For Christ is once again holding a delicious Bake Sale. Be sure to stop and pick up a yummy treat for your favorite Valentine. The funds raised at these bake sales will go directly towards YFC's trip to New Orleans for the National Youth Gathering this July. HELP FOR HAITI Thrivent Financial for Lutherans has issued a "Million Dollar Challenge." Thrivent will add one dollar for every two dollars donated by their members. You may donate to either Lutheran World Relief or LCMS World Relief/Human Care and Thrivent will add a maximum of $250 per member donation. Donations will be accepted through March 31, 2010. The goal is to turn two million dollars into three million dollars in donations. You can be part of the Helping Haiti effort and make a difference for the victims of this natural disaster. TAX HELP: This year, the Winnebago County UW Extension, Oshkosh Area United Way, Oshkosh Senior Center, UW Oshkosh, Oshkosh Area Community Pantry and Fox Valley Technical Institute are partnering to provide free tax preparation service for low to moderate-income families and for older adults. The online tax preparation service will be held at the Oshkosh Senior Center beginning February 4 and continuing through April 10. Tax appointments will be available on Thursday afternoons and evenings, Friday mornings and early afternoons, and Saturday mornings and early afternoons. A satellite office at the Oshkosh Area Community Pantry will also be open on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. For more information, or to set up an appointment, please call the Oshkosh Area United Way Tax Line at 651-3060.
EASTER LILIES: We have ordered Easter Lilies to help us decorate the church for Easter Sunday Worship. If you are interested in purchasing a lily, please fill out the "PLANT ORDER" envelope available at the Welcome Center and place it in the grey box next to the office door. The cost of the Lilies this year is $10.00.
