CORE VALUES

1. We value faithfulness to the Holy Scriptures and Lutheran Confessions.

2. We value a Christ-centered ministry.

VISION

The Vision of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church is:

1. That “…all people are to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:4

2. That all members are active in becoming disciples of Jesus Christ.

3. That, using Christ as the example, we will be a discipleship oriented congregation focused on learning from Christ so that we may teach and serve others.

4. That we will be a compassionate congregation seeking to meet the physical and spiritual needs of all people we contact.

5. That we will be intentional in Christ’s shared ministry, that is, we will order our days and deeds in an effort to fulfill the great commission and live under the grace of God.

6. That we will be a missional congregation, witnessing to the Truth of God in Jesus Christ.

MISSION

The mission statement of Trinity Lutheran Church is:  Make disciples of all people - Matthew 28

1. A disciple of Christ:
                      a) believes His teaching, Matthew 10:24
                      b) rests on His sacrifice, Luke 14:26, 27, 33
                      c) imbibes His Spirit, John 6:69 
                      d) imitates His example, James 1:22
                      e) is a student of His Word, and 2 Timothy 3:16, 17
                      f) is known by their Christian love for one another Matthew 7:16

2. We pray that the Holy Spirit make us instruments of his peace, both as a congregation and as individuals.
